Subject: research on gifted children and families

My name is Lisa White, and I am a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, in San Francisco. I am currently collecting data for my dissertation, which examines interactions between gifted children and their parents, especially looking at gender differences and perceptions of support versus intrusiveness.

Currently, I am in the process of recruiting participants, and would appreciate any suggestions or help in finding families with gifted children in grades 7 through 11. All that is required of participants is to fill out my online survey, at www.giftedfamilies.com.
